The expected annual salary range for this role is $65,000- $95,000 a year.

The primary function of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide tier 1 technical support for Low Voltage Automatic, Non-Automatic, and Manual Transfer Switches.
What you'll do:
Customer SupportPossess understanding of technical aspects of Transfer Switches and related applications.
Possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and be able to understand and resolve complex customer application issues.
Provide efficient and accurate pre-sale application and technical support by analyzing and recommending solutions to meet customer's needs.
Interpret customer specifications, drawings and schematics to assist with quotes and solutions.
Cross reference competitive products.
Help manage daily phone and email activity providing directions, solutions and recommendations.
Generate and communicate sales leads to field sales and product line.
Effectively communicate product value proposition and product line strategies.
Product Line Support
Make recommendations for product enhancements and offerings.
Proactively communicate customer needs to the product lines.
Provide feedback to product marketing and engineering regarding catalog information, cross reference data, renewal parts information, technical drawings, and any other technical documentation found in hard copy, electronic format or on the website.
Maintain and expand product knowledge base.Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
Must be eligible to work in U.S. without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is offered. Candidates must live within 50 miles from Arden, NC. Active Duty Military is exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in manufacturing operations, engineering, design, marketing or service functions preferred.
Preferred expertise in the following system tools:
Bid Manager, Enovia (Engineering Data), Vista
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, deal with conflict resolution, analyze complex problems and implement solutions.
Ability to convey the appropriate sense of urgency to department personnel and throughout other plant functions to support unique or unusual customer needs.
Proactively leverage other organizations such as EESS, PQ Service, AE community and industry segment managers related to the ATS product line.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and strong customer service skills.Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.
