    What You'll Do:

    The AO/Senior Corporate Actions Analyst role at AB involves managing complex corporate action events that impact different types of financial instruments and asset classes, with a focus on process improvement, bank loan amendments, and risk management. The role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and managing vendor data. The Senior Corporate Actions Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy, as well as mentoring junior team members. This is a highly analytical role that requires strong leadership abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

    Describe the applications and business or enterprise functions the role supports:

    The Corporate Actions Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the core functions of AB, including Global Fund Accounting, Client Reporting and Performance, Portfolio Management, Legal and Compliance, and Financial Reporting. The team's data distribution impacts critical aspects of the business, such as daily valuation, Mutual Fund NAV's, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and trading. As a result, the Corporate Actions Team is a key contributor to the overall success of AB, ensuring that accurate and timely information is available to support decision-making across the organization.

    The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Confirming events with custodians and internal clients (Investment teams, Client Reporting, etc)
    • Applying AB's investment decisions with the Custodian banks in a timely and accurate manner prior to the custodian deadline (or market deadline if necessary).
    • Confirming accurate event details and the subsequent timely processing.
    • Supporting Corporate Action Events for all security types, including bank loan amendments and non-depository assets.
    • Ensuring compliance with AB Policy and regulatory requirements.
    • Participating in projects related to corporate actions and process improvements.
    • Identifying and mitigating risks related to corporate actions processing.
    • Developing and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Managing relationships with vendors and custodians to ensure service level agreements are met.
    • Providing support to other teams within AB as needed.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • 4-year undergraduate degree preferably in business-related discipline or equivalent experience
    • 2 years of work experience in investment management operations or business analysis
    • Experience in Corporate Actions
    • Experience managing people is a plus

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of multiple asset classes and how they can be used in portfolios
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Special Knowledge (if applicable):
    • The candidate should be able to communicate effectively, work well in a team setting, and be able to effectively handle changes with a positive outlook.
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg Data and other financial service data vendors is a plus
