Randstad Staffing is hiring for a Tool & Die Maker in Brooklyn Park, MN. If you have prior experience building new tools/fixtures, using CAD/CAM, repair molds, jigs, tools. This is the job for you Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience building injection molds
• 2 year degree in Machine Tool Technology

Responsibilities

• Builds new tools for our customers; interprets drawings to develop build plan
• Troubleshoot molds in collaboration with process engineers
• Inspects completed tools for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
• Uses tools to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures.
• Repairs and maintains molds and fixtures when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then cleans and reassembles when repaired.
• Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.
• Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and/or turn designs into blueprints.
• Uses computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to program CNC machines.
• Operates a variety of manual and automatic machines, such as: Haas Mills and Lathes, Makino EDMs, surface grinders, etc.
