    Job Description

    Title: Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

    Responsibilities:

    • Document all patient calls in the EHR and help patients meet goals outlined in the provider's care plan
    • Assist Physician with medication refills
    • Answers calls and route all incoming correspondence to appropriate staff
    • Supports patients and team members with use of videoconference technology
    • Manage patient registration and scheduling
    • Under the direction of the Psychiatrist/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Team Leader/RN:
    • Support service delivery by helping health care providers carry out and track the authorization of drug refills as directed; coordinating phone calls to pharmacies; managing lab work and follow up for results;
    • Responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, measure and record vital signs, obtaining patient history, assisting to complete drug tests
    • Ensuring files are up to date and accurate in the E.H.R

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Certified Medical Assistant
    • Experience working in a medical setting
    • General knowledge of medical terminology
