    Responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating Commercial field sales activities to promote and support Kohler brands to the assigned strategic Key Decision Makers that influence specifications and project development around the United States.

    Responsible for developing sales strategies for achieving increased penetration with customers and high-profile projects.

    Works with the sales teams in market to obtain additional project orders by these strategic accounts and ultimately increase market share within the various Commercial sectors.

    Specific Responsibilities


    • Oversees the development and ownership of key relationships with the most influential Engineers, Architects, Designers, Design-build Mechanicals, Real Estate Management firms, Commercial Developers, and Owners.
    • Strategically manage the active high-profile project pipeline and SOW growth targets for the top strategic Commercial specifiers (Engineers, A&D, RE Managers, Developers, and Owners).
    • Proven ability to position products against competitors by providing differentiated and achievable solutions.
    • Coordinate and implement presentations to assist in selecting products and obtaining approval of Kohler brands for Commercial project specifications.
    • Evaluate project market trends, maintain an in-depth understanding of competitors' products and project pricing strategy.
    • In conjunction with Marketing, recommend appropriate price strategies and product gap solutions to allow Kohler Co. to achieve annual business growth objectives in the Commercial sector.
    • Identify and recommend appropriate promotional and support material required to enhance the image of Kohler within the Commercial market.
    • Ensure that Kohler is connected throughout the project process from Design to Construction, requiring the engagement of the local sales team with distribution, contractors, G.C's, and Developers.
    • Collaboratively with local teams in various markets to coordinate client relationship opportunities to secure specifications, quotations, and orders.
    • Regional sales lead supporting advanced technology-enhanced products and solutions, while providing additional layer of expertise to local sales teams in areas of product function, compatibility, and code requirements.
    • Work side by side with National Accounts team to align on executable strategy to drive commercial sales with key distribution partners.
    • Establish regional relationships, participate in industry events, and drive local sales team engagement with key industry organizations, including ASPE, ASHE, NFMT, AMFP, Healthcare Facilities, UA, and others identified to be influential to the growth of KOHLER Commercial.
    • Prepare and maintain required reports and forms related to daily sales activities, expenses, correspondence, etc.
    Skills/Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Sales, Business Administration or Marketing.
    • 3-5 years of sales/management experience with a consistent track record of results required.
    • Must possess strong skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.
    Travel
    Must live near a major airport and can travel approximately 40%+ of the time.
    Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
    The base salary for this position is approximately$77,400 - $97,800 plus a competitive half-yearly sales incentive bonus. This position may be eligible for an Area Salary Differential based onthe location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vison, 401k,and pension with eligibility to participate in the car program.
