Sales Associate Wanted
We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person with a sales background to help in our optical department. Applicant must have strong communication skills and be proficient using computers. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist doctor with patient care as needed; facilitate patient flow with excellent communication in order to provide an exceptional patient experience
Proficient in the use of practice software and electronic health records
Perform all functions in optical dispensary including assisting patients with frame styling, advising patients about lens options, fitting eyewear to patients, performing minor repairs
Process spectacle and contact lens orders, and associated insurance claims
Check in spectacle orders and verify prescriptions. Call and/or email patients when their order arrives, ensuring highly satisfied patients and efficient office production.
Assist with front desk duties: answering phone calls, managing patient files, greeting patients, scheduling appointments)
Required qualifications:
Exceptional communication and sales skills
Excellent computer skills
Confident and able to put patients at ease
Detail oriented and able to follow established procedures
Ability to handle a variety of tasks and prioritize them
Outgoing and genuinely caring personality
Team player
Great organizational skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
High school graduate or equivalent
Sales experience required. We are willing to train the technical components of being an optician for the right person.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
