Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our organization's operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and cloud technologies to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems environment.

Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
Implement and manage Azure cloud-based services and solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources for maximum efficiency and uptime.
Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure connectivity and security.
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure business continuity.
Conduct security assessments and implement security best practices to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with software developers and application teams to deploy and integrate new systems and applications.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Provide technical support and assistance to end users and IT support teams as needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems engineering and IT infrastructure management.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role.
Strong proficiency in systems administration, including Windows and Linux server environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with firewall and security technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, Azure Administration are a plus.
