- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings relevant to gynecological care.
- Collaborate closely with gynecologists to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure a supportive and empathetic environment.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current valid Maryland state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Prior experience in gynecology or women's health is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in conducting gynecological exams and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
