    Job Summary


    Resource Consulting Engineers, LLC, a growing MEPF consulting engineering firm primarily focused on services related to building analysis, design, and construction administration services, is expanding into the Omaha area and we are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer.

    The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing and/or overseeing all aspects of electrical systems design for our projects.

    Oversight of other electrical engineering personnel is expected to be a key role for this position.

    The ideal candidate is expected to take a leadership role within the firm, and will also work directly with clients, performing both technical engineering and project management roles.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Management and oversight of electrical department staff

    Design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems

    Design and analysis of lighting systems

    Design and analysis of low-voltage systems (fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.)

    Calculations related to electrical systems

    Use of electrical systems design software

    Production of electrical drawings and specifications

    Review of submittals from contractors

    Response to contractor questions

    Qualifications and Skills

    Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa

    Minimum of five years' experience designing electrical systems for buildings

    Experience with design of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems

    Experience with design software packages (Revit and electrical design software)

    Ability to work effectively with other team members and clients
