QTEC Aerospace is seeking multiple NETWORK ENGINEERS to join our team of professionals in Colorado Springs, CO.The successful candidates will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government in support of a Missile Defense System (MDS) with a mission of protecting the United States and our allies.

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals.
The successful candidates will function as an
integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:
Planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the program network to operational sites
Traveling to alternate work locations,
such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc.,
to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline (i.e., EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT) or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 5 years of professional experience or a related Master's degree with at least 3 years of professional experience
The position requires an IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
Proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies
Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF
Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Must have firewall experience, especially Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
Demonstrated experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs
Hands-on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment
Must thrive and work in a collaborative and agile environment
Must understand standard DOD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio as needed
Self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarization with virtualization technologies - NFV, SDWAN, VMware, VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria
Experience with network automation using Ansible
Top Secret security clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
Salary Range
$120,000 - $183,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
