- Oversee day-to-day supervision of the project site.
- Assist in establishing and implementing safety plans, with direct responsibility for project safety.
- Conduct on-site meetings with subcontractors, owners, and tradesmen.
- Maintain discipline at the jobsite.
- Supervise company field labor and hourly wage employees hired from third parties.
- Manage subcontractor activities.
- Assist in establishing and enforcing quality control plans, including adherence to plans, specifications, and local building codes.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and jobsite photos.
- Monitor subcontractors' progress and ensure proper job sequencing.
- Collaborate on the preparation of Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and implement schedules to meet project completion dates.
- Generate and submit requests for information.
- Act as a liaison with owner occupants.
- Resolve conflicts arising in the field.
- Maintain as-built drawings.
- Identify documents for potential change orders and back charges.
- Coordinate material deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5-7 years of general construction experience required.
- Experience in K-12 education and/or aviation construction preferred.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations preferred.
- Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills are essential.
