Job Summary:

Supports the Heritage Aviation Manufacturing team by receiving parts and materials to stock, kitting work orders for the Assembly team, issuing shortages and replacement parts, and performing cycle counts.
Participates in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions investigations as required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pick parts and prepare kits for the Assembly team.
• Perform Cycle Counts
• Practice FIFO Methodologies
• Deliver parts/materials to the Assembly areas.
• Move received parts/materials into stocking locations.
• Properly protect parts to prevent damage.
• Pick and prepare parts for shipment to customer.
• Follow company safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience, Education, and Skills:

• High School degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Communication: Talking to others to convey information effectively. Giving full attention and listening to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Problem Solving: Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and suggesting solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• ERP/MRP, ECI MAX, SAP, Epicore, Global Shop, or equivalent capability
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

• Warehouse/Manufacturing environment, with frequent visits to the shop floor.
• Prolonged periods of standing and movement.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility to deliver parts/materials.
