About the RoleSGS is seeking a full-time
Software Engineer III
with experience in frontend development and a desire to grow into more of our software stack. Responsibilities
Work on various elements of the platform and translating ideas into coherent software development roadmaps
Participate in, and improve upon our agile development process
Write robust, maintainable, and future-proof code
Perform code reviews, engage in software design and architecture discussions, as well as communicate technical information to non-technical teams
Understand the needs of stakeholders
About You
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related) degree
Practical experience contributing to live, production-level software
Advanced knowledge of the React framework and ecosystem
Hands-on architect with the ability to write well-documented, extensible code
Experience building performant, scalable web applications
Experience implementing meaningful unit testing and building end-to-end testing
Working knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, or similar OOP language
Understanding of CI/CD best practices and releasing code utilizing a deployment pipeline
Continuous learner on new technologies that can determine whether they should be used and what the best approach is for a particular project
Willingness to own decision-making for technical tasks and projects
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with team leads
Must be eligible to obtain a US Government security clearance
