    Our client, a global Japanese trading company is looking for a Tax Associate in the Houston TX area to join their team

    Title:
    Tax Associate


    Industry:
    Renewables Trading

    Type:
    Full Time Direct Hire Exempt

    Location:
    Houston TX

    Salary:

    103-134K + 10% bonus

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    3-5 years of related tax experience
    Experience in OneSource income tax preparation software
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    At least College Degree degree in accounting

    JOB DUTIES:
    Knowledge of compliance for unitary income tax filings and interacting
    with an external tax advisor for the preparation of other unitary filings
    Preparing for state adjustments, income tax settlement and estimated tax
    payments
    Preparing for property tax renditions accurately
    Maintaining for the internal property tax manual
    Support for tax audits and tax planning
    Making semi-monthly tax payments and preparing for quarterly return
