The Office of Practice is accepting applications for a Nurse Practitioner- PRN . This position will be in one of our Nurse Managed Clinics located in Johnson City, Tennessee, the Johnson City Community Health Center, Johnson City Downtown Day Center, and/or University Health Center. The Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced practice primary care in compliance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act; document all services; collaborate with other clinic staff, clinic director, and preceptor; supervise staff as assigned; participate in quality assurance activities; and demonstrate a commitment to serving vulnerable populations.

Stress levels may be high due to frequently dealing with numerous students, patients, family members, and other healthcare providers. This position demands concentration and the ability to work in emotionally charged situations.
