Description

We are currently searching for an exceptional and proficient CDL Bus Driver for a direct employment opportunity with our client in Glenelg, MD.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k

Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, + Tips based on experience.

A bus driver is responsible for transporting passengers from one place to another. The key priorities for a bus driver are the safety and the comfort of their passengers throughout the journey. In this role, you will drive through local routes and make stops to pick up and drop off passengers according to a planned schedule.

Responsibilities:

Embrace a welcoming and polite demeanor while also being assertive when necessary.
Demonstrate a strong sense of customer service.
Understand and implement appropriate safety and security measures associated with the role.
Maintain focus and attention to detail.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of routes.
Exhibit patience, responsibility, and reliability.
Uphold a high sense of responsibility.
Adhere to and respect traffic laws consistently.
Execute pick-up and drop-off duties according to the set schedule and planned route.
Prioritize passenger safety.
Effectively communicate any delays or planned route changes to passengers.
Assist passengers experiencing difficulty boarding or alighting the bus.
Collect fares and verify tickets when required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Comply with all drivers' "ELOG" rules and regulations.
