    The Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is looking for a Director of Demand Planning for our Datacenter (DC) Demand Planning Team.

    This role is responsible for driving best practices in data analysis that will lead to better decision-making as we grow in complexity.

    This critically important role will be responsible for developing demand planning analysis leveraging statistical data analysis methods/tools that will balance customer requirements, engineering requirements, and risk in accordance with demand planning best practices.

    In addition, this role will be responsible for identifying demand needs and coordinating across engineering, operations, and finance teams to evaluate and recommend potential solutions.

    The solutions and data analysis developed by the individual in this role will be delivered to executives through a high-tempo rhythm of business that demands the ability to develop robust analysis and documentation, communicate crisply, and drive changes on short intervals.

    Moreover, the individual in this role will own the roadmap for process and software tool development to generate systematic reporting and execution rhythms.

    Responsibilities

    • Support DC Demand planning and strategy.
    • Lead requirements, manage process, and drive strategic decisions for all demand needs related to Energy stakeholders and customers.
    • Lead the GPU customer requirements in demand plan in both the short and long term horizon
    • Lead demand planning Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Executive S&OP
    • Identify, evaluate, and implement planning improvements drawing on statistical methods, demand planning principles, S&OP best practices, and emerging software technology capabilities.
    • Work across a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure we collaboratively improve, adapt, and adopt our processes and support software systems to support rapidly changing business requirements.
    • Build and manages key relationships needed for demand planning. Drives collaboration and alignment on plans; cross-functional relationships.
    • Drives long-term strategy for plans and drives additional forecast variability, and with longer-term planning horizons.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 10 years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 8 years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

    Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

    This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Sound communication and leadership skills to drive projects and build buy-in and support.
    • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a business-critical function.
    • Technical certifications relevant to data analysis/BI
    • 8 years people management experience.
    Supply Planning M- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year.

    There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
