- Assists customers via phone or walk-in by correctly locating needed parts using various parts database systems in a timely and efficient manner to help minimize customer downtime. Offers technical advice to meet customer needs. Orders parts behalf of customer. Accurately enters data for billing and inventory purposes.
- Assists shop technicians and sales staff with ordering and researching parts/service issues and locating/tracking parts using in-house software.
- Locates and purchases parts from outside vendors for non-CAT equipment on behalf of customer.
- Investigates and manages customer complaints. Obtains adequate information and properly documents all information received.
- Processes (pulls, tags and ships) returned parts to vendor including inspecting remanufactured and warranty parts.
- Receives and acts on daily inventory bin count report counting bins, updating database with findings and researching and resolving discrepancies.

Description

NMC is looking for a Part Counter Sales Representative responsible for effectively and efficiently assisting customers at the parts counter. You'll be the face of our store facilitating parts sales to walk-in customers and over the phone. You'll assess the customer's needs while striving to maximize sales then research and order parts while providing superior service to ensure customer satisfaction. At times, you'll need to assist in the warehouse when needed to keep operations running smoothly. We're looking for a team player with strong communication skills who enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys serving customers.
