Senior Manager or Director of Technical Accounting

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for growth and professional development, particularly in the area of technical accounting. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on complex financial issues.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in public accounting or accounting advisory work to lead our technical accounting efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise on detailed revenue analysis and recognition, preferred stock transactions, and stock-based compensation arrangements
Draft and review financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Communicate effectively with clients to determine their expectations and requirements
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work products and services
Stay up-to-date with the latest technical accounting developments and apply this knowledge to support business growth and improvement

Minimum Requirements:

Approximately 7-15 years of work experience in public accounting or accounting advisory work; CPA license is required
Strong knowledge of technical accounting, including revenue recognition, software revenue recognition, business combinations, and stock-based compensation
Experience working with private and public companies, particularly in technology and software industries
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
