    Description


    The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years.

    2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.


    LA28, the organizers for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, is on a mission to create an unparalleled Games experience for athletes, fans, partners, our community and our people.

    The 2028 Olympics and Paralympics will represent LA and leverage the strength of our community's diversity and creativity as we collectively work to design a Games that we all want to be a part of.

    The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

    United States Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) is a commercial joint venture between the Los Angeles Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028 (LA 2028) and the U.S.

    Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC).

    The USOPP is the sole entity charged with marketing and selling combined commercial assets, including; rights to the 2022, 2024, 2026 and 2028 U.S Olympic and Paralympic Teams and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

    Manager, Partnership Marketing
    The Manager, Partnership Marketing

    will manage day-to-day engagement with ourCommercialPartners(Sponsors)across the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements.

    Additionally, they will be responsible for working closely with the Partnership Marketingteam to help design and drive marketing strategies and initiatives that further the business goals of our Partner Family.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing,experientialand social media.

    The incumbent must be organized and adept at multitasking; able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.


    The accelerated onboarding and integration of theManager will be critical as the Partnership Marketing team prepares for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, ensuring the smooth execution and delivery of all Partner activations and programs this summer.

    Working in ourLos Angeles office,they'll collaborate with our sales, communications, athlete, social impact, creative strategy and design teams,among other departments,to help drive the overall success of Team USA and the LA28 Games.

    The Manager, Partnership Marketing will report to the Director, Partnership Marketing.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Manage day-to-day relationship and needs of multiplecommercialpartnerteams including clients, agencies, and marketingunits

    Driveall contractual deliverables and activation for clients/brands, coordinating with PM leadership and internal cross-functional departments to properly plan and deliveras needed to customize and enhance marketing opportunities for clients/brands

    Help ensure allcommercial partnership efforts serve to achieve and optimizeimmediate and long-term business goals, and support all improvements for processes and tracking to KPIs

    Design and deliver project management plans, under the direction of Partnership Marketing Leadership

    Manage ongoing client engagement through meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence

    Support delivery and execution of Partner Games-time contractual obligations and additional needs

    Maintain a directory andinventory of PM materials (both hard and soft), ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed

    Manage and facilitatepartners' productintegration supply rights, obligations, and opportunities between Partner, LA28, and the USOPC

    Actively engage with Sponsors to support and strengthen our DEIB Strategic Plan, thereby contributing to the enduring legacy of LA28

    Partner with the functional area experts within the organizing committee (e.g. Games Operations, Impact, Finance, IT, HR, etc.) to get a deep understanding of budgets and operational needs

    Manage partner creative and approvals viathe IOC'sTrack system

    Work with additional PM staff tolead projects as well ascreate presentations, tracking documents and other work product as needed

    Oversee growth and development of a Partnership Marketing Associate

    Liaise with keypeers/functional units at IOC, IPC, USOPC, and NGBs

    • years of direct experience in sports business or related marketing environment
    Hands on experience developing and leading relationships with strategic partners

    Strong operational and program execution skills

    Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports marketing industry.
    Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus.

    a long-term, strategic lens

    Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

    Clear communicator with attention to detail

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in sports marketing, marketing, advertising, communications or related field of study

    The annual base salary range for this position is $85, $ The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.

    All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.

    LA28 does not provide relocation assistance.
