    Job DescriptionMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    A. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

    1. Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and electronic prints preferred.
    2. Familiar with manufacturing equipment and its functions.
    3. Ability to work with hazardous materials and conditions safely.
    4. Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.
    5. Ability to understand logic boards and relays.
    6. Ability to safely operate all related tool making machinery preferred. (Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press, Welder, and accessories).
    7. Basic knowledge of HVAC units preferred.
    8. Familiar with National Electrical Codes preferred.
    9. Good verbal and written communication skills.
    10. Highschool lever math skills.
    11. Safety conscious.

    B. EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Maintenance skills test required.
    3. Knowledge of Whitlam Recycling program (in-house training).
    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Responsible for efficiently installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, routine building and non-manufacturing equipment maintenance and/or repair (including occasional snow removal and salting of walkways). To manufacture parts and/or assemblies from drawing or concept for production or building maintenance, with a high regard for quality. Perform all duties and functional responsibilities.

    A. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Maintain, repair, build and upgrade manufacturing and non-manufacturing equipment.
    2. Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems for the building.
    3. Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as: forklift, pallet jacks and carts as necessary.
    4. Maintain, repair and upgrade electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
    5. Responsible for miscellaneous errands as required.
    6. Complete and maintain all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
    7. Handle materials, tools and equipment with proper care and respect.
    8. Ensure all lighting elements, waste oils, solvents and other chemicals used in the maintenance process are properly stored and disposed of, according to environmental and safety regulations.
    9. Comply with all pertinent departmental and company policies, procedures and instructions.
    10. Perform backup duties to Pressroom / Building Maintenance staff in their absence.
    11. Perform any other duties as required.
