    The Role at a glance:

    We are looking to add a skilled, motivated Administrative Assistant to our Lancer Hospitality team in Saint Paul, MN. This position requires communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and computer software proficiency along with document management software or CRM software.

    What you'll be doing:

    CATERING SUPPORT AND RETAIL ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS (for Como Zoo and Como Town)

    • Help support networking opportunities with emphasis on corporate functions
    • Provide catering department with professional administrative support
    • Processes deposits and final payments for all catering events
    • Works with GM and sales person to collect on outstanding balances due
    • Operational support during large events by working late night events when needed (limited)

    CLERICAL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TASKS

    • Answering phones, sorting mail, and filing documents
    • Supporting internal Como Zoo and Como Town retail customer calls

    OFFICE  RESPONSIBILTIES

    • Manage office procedures, audits, till management, vault counts, register reconciliations.
    • Work to ensure safe counts and drawers are completed
    • Willing to take on additional responsibilities during events
    • Create catering systems that help support our teams to be efficient
    • Support CRM system as needed

    Job duties may be added at discretion of General Manager and may be subject to change

    What we're looking for:

    Must-haves: 

    • A high school diploma or equivalent. 
    • At least one year of administrative experience. 
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. 
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

    Nice-to-haves: 

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

    Compensation Range

    $50-55k/yr. dependent on experience.
