    Job DetailsResponsibilities:
    Coordinates Quality Management and Performance Improvement activities with all departments providing patient care.

    Interprets regulations to identify elements of patient care to be monitored and the monitoring criteria; and to establish systems and processes to ensure compliance with agency requirements.

    Collects and aggregates data for evaluation by clinical department. Follows up to ensure correction of identified problems.
    Educates and evaluates clinical and support department staff regarding quality management regulations and standards of care.


    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Engineering or related field

    Certifications:
    CPHQ certification is a plus.
    Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred.
    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred.
    Counseling Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Social Work (LISW) Licensed Independent Social Worker preferred.


    Complexity of Work:
    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
    Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


    Work Experience:
    Three years of patient care experience required.
    Three years of experience in Quality Improvement preferred.
    Clinical experience preferred.


    Offset:
    High School diploma/GED and eleven years of recent clinical experience.


    Offset:
    Associate's degree and nine years of recent clinical experience

    Physical Requirements:
    Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC.Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
    Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
    Excellent hand/eye coordination.
    Lift up to 25 pounds.
    Manual dexterity to operate personal computers and standard office machines.


    Requirement 2Personal Protective Equipment:
    Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
