    Description

    ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
    1. Organizes,leads, implements, and supervises day-to-day operations of the nursing program.2. Plans,designs, studies, and assesses hospital-wide performance improvement, surveyreadiness programs, and risk prevention measures.3. Coordinatesand documents internal performance improvement activities.4. Leadsand serves as a role model for identifying opportunities for improvementthroughout the organization.5. Managesthe activities necessary to ensure appropriate utilization of the hospital andits resources.6. Maintainsachievable standards of patient care.7. Workscollaboratively with the medical staff and leadership in support of processimprovement and risk management goals.8. Actsas a clinical resource and substitute if/when staffing shortages occur.9. Reportsto work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.10. Performs other jobduties as needed and/or as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Requires the ability to demonstrateleadership, manageability, and the ability to apply interpersonal andprinciples of supervision and administration.
    Requires good computer skills withminimal guidance.
    Must be able to effectively communicatein English via verbal and written means.
    Behavioral Health experience ispreferred.


    LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
