    Lead AV Implementation Specialist

    Main Points
    • Pay: 90k-115k
    • Work from home Monday and Friday
    • Work on the road traveling Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to different areas in (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut.
    • Must have CTS or CTS-I certification
    • 10+ years of experience required
    • Implementation and Integration experience required
    Responsibilities
    • Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements.
    • Altering venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
    • Directly oversee a team of Field Engineers, Sr. Field Engineers, and Integration Managers within the region.
    • Drop-ins at installation sites within the region
    • Ensure communication with larger project teams is effective and timely
    • Communicate daily technical and site-specific information to the PMO team in a comprehensive, thorough, and detailed manner.
    • Daily interaction with clients and job sites to document customer requirements and job site conditions.
    • Ensure the posting of all post installation documentation, including red lined drawings, network information, updated programming, DSP or other device configurations, MAC addresses, etc. back to Project Management.
    • Be capable of working effectively and efficiently with support from other members of the engineering team.
    • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation and records.
    • Communicate effectively with internal staff, client representatives, and subcontractors.
    • Be responsible for successfully completing assignments on time and communicate effectively to the project team if the timeline is in jeopardy.
    • Conform to company technical standards and practices. Correctly interpret multiple formats of technical specifications, schematic drawings, and architectural diagrams.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Leadership and Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and approve weekly time reports
    • Review and approve expense submissions
    • Review and approve vacation / PTO / Sick time off requests
    • Developing and executing training plans, with input from the Director of Field Resource Management
    • Bi-Weekly 1:1 meeting with team members

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Perform the installation, replacement and/or configuration of integrated system components, networked Video Conferencing Codecs, networked A/V Control Systems and networked Audio DSP Devices
    • Test and commission the final installation of entire system prior to Client handover including proper installation, set-up, calibration and operation of DSP-based audiovisual components and networked AV control systems
    • Daily communication with the PMO of project status including immediate communication of any issues which may impact successful, timely completion of project

    Education and Experience:

    • 10+ years' experience in the AV field with leadership experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in sound engineering or a similar field.
    • In-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment.
    • AVIXA CTS certification with Advanced CTS-I certification desirable
    • Willingness to pursue and attend additional training related to performance of job.
    • Proficiency in video network infrastructure commissioning and support processes
    • Knowledge of video and audio-conferencing service standards
    • Knowledge of audiovisual, videoconferencing and IT products and applications
    • Experience with Crestron, Extron and AMX control systems
