    Job TitleFinancial AnalystBanesco USA is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Finance Business Unit.
    Primary Job DutiesResponsible for preparing and creating monthly financial reports for presentation at the monthly Board of Directors meetings.
    Prepares and analyzes budget vs actual variances. Investigates and notates any discrepancies and advises other departments to make necessary corrections.
    Communicate findings and recommendation on financial report analysisPerform business cases and financial models.

    Update and track business cases for strategic initiativesResponsible for preparing and analyzing the monthly provisionsAssist in expense management vs budget for accuracy and allocationUpdate reports sent to the Banks AffiliatesEvaluate financial data and update queriesUpdate monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports (ie., Census, BEA, Qualified Public Depositor (QPD))Perform ad hoc reports and presentationsPerforms other functions and/or duties as assignedStudy business and economic trends and stay updated with industry regulationsResponsible for completing annual training program assigned.


    Job RequirementsEducation:
    Bachelors Degree in related field

    Experience:
    Three (3) years of experience in the Banking industry or in Finance.

    Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
    Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of internal customers.
    Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting related functions.
    Intermediate knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
    Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Banks policies and procedures.
    Problem solving and analytical skills in order to identify problems.
