- Greet patients in waiting area, escort patients to clinical areas, check-outs
- Telephone call-backs, and telephone care as directed by physician/provider and RN
- Patient counseling and education as directed by provider
- Responsible for HPN and NYSIIS immunization registration reprinting and account updates
- Preparation of medical record in advance of appointment
- Obtain and document chief complaint, vital signs, history, ordered CLIA waived tests
- Capture charges for provision of ancillary services
- Prepare patient and exam room and assist physician/provider with examination
- Labeling and handling of labs, pap smears, cultures, biopsies and other specimens
- Assumes responsibility for patient flow and ensure that patients have follow up testing and appointment with physicians
- Accredited nursing program graduate
- Current NYS LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- 1 Year experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
