    CMM Programmer – Afternoon Shift (12 pm – 8:30 pm)

    $75-105K DOE

    Job Description:

    As a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining coordinate measuring machine programs, ensuring the accurate inspection of components in accordance with company drawings and specifications. If you possess the required skills, while afternoon shift is preferred, we are open to considering various shifts and hours that suit your availability.

    Essential Duties and Tasks:

    • Utilize BIPROS (Lean) continuous improvement practices in inspection areas for enhanced efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain CMM / FaroArm inspection programs for purchased parts based on company drawings and requests.
    • Inspect production, non-production, and sample components using coordinate measuring machines and conventional inspection methods.
    • Handle sort, rework, and quarantine of non-conforming material.
    • Complete inspection documentation and reporting.
    • Approve/reject material using SAP transactions.
    • Flexibility to work required shifts, overtime, and support periods of employee vacations or equipment breakdowns.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints.
    • CMM programming experience is mandatory.
    • Familiarity with hand gaging equipment.
    • SAP experience is advantageous.
    • Audit and SPC (statistical process control) experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in Excel; ACCESS experience is a plus.
    • Effective communication skills with colleagues, the public, and vendors.
    • Good written communication and organizational skills.
