    Dense Air (DA) builds and operates Open RAN "neutral host" networks. DA's single shared architecture provides a secure, seamless, and simultaneous experience for mobile network operators, ISPs, enterprise private networks, and municipal use cases.

    Main Purpose of the Job:

    The Senior System Test Engineer plays a key role in verifying the functionality of Dense Air's internally developed RAN products through lab FOA through lifecycle. This includes playing a key role in the quality assurance phase of verification testing in operational environment.

    The role includes the integration and verification of Dense Air's end-to-end Neutral Host 4G / 4G and 5G network, including Core, RAN and OSS functions. This is a vital part of Dense Air's business, enabling the rapid deployment of 4G / 4G and 5G networks across Dense Air's operating businesses.

    The Senior System Test Engineer will provide hands-on role, to define and implement manual and automated testing regimes that ensure product & network builds meet functional and non-functional specifications and provide confidence that our software is of the highest quality and meets customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Introduction and execution of a test strategy operations in line with Dense Air engineering practices, ensuring requirements and defect traceability throughout. EnableWrite and execute test scripts ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met by products and end-to-end networks.
    • Scheduling test alongside RAN Engineering teams for verification.RAN engineering for feature validation and execution.
    • Incorporate automated testing into System Test processes.
    • Maintain regression test to verify product builds, increase early defect discovery, increase productivity, and provide faster release cycles.
    • Provide necessary operational support as required by senior management.

    Education and Experience:

    • Five years working in a system verification role, testing 4G / 5G products, RAN experience preferable.
    • In-depth knowledge of verification strategies and automatic verification tools.
    • In-depth knowledge of mobile networks, especially 4G and 5G 3GPP standards.
    • 5G ORAN experience preferable.
    • Technical degree preferable.

    • Able to structure and execute testing strategies around customer needs and expectations.
    • An excellent planner able to schedule and prioritise work and react positively to issues occurring.
    • Able to present information in a clear and concise way to peers and managers.
