Join our world-class team today Position Specific DescriptionEmployees should have experience with production forecasting, running economics, working with asset teams to optimize asset development, and evaluating well performance and upside potential for asset acquisitions and divestment.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Forecast producing wells using decline curve analysis and monitor current production
    • Run economics and sensitivities and be able to identify primary drivers of changes to valuations
    • Perform analysis of analog wells and identify key variables to support type curve recommendations
    • Clearly communicate and support recommendations
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team to optimize asset development
    • Keep abreast of new technology and leverage to support business solutionsPreferred Qualifications
    • Experience working for an oil and gas operator
    • Familiarity with ComboCurveJob OverviewThis job is responsible for performing analytical engineering functions. Employees in this role are responsible for evaluating well performance and upside potential for asset acquisition and divestment, log analysis, working with operators in picking perforations and completing techniques, integrating with various groups to forecast production and revenue, and other projects as assigned.
    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assists management with forecasting future production and revenue
    • Evaluates and ranks new opportunities
    • Builds type curves for new plays
    • Works with operating partners to identify and pick new locations, perforations, completion techniques, etc.
    • Keeps abreast of new technology
    • Networks with industry peers
    • Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
    • Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
