    Corewell Health South comprises three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical services across Southwest Michigan.

    Scope of Work

    The Registered Nurse (RN), operating under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the nursing process framework to deliver exceptional nursing care, focusing on patient-family centered approaches. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and facilitating patient discharge. The RN collaborates with the Nurse Leader and adheres to Corewell Health policies, understanding the crucial role of nursing care in achieving positive patient outcomes. By integrating patient and family insights into care planning, the RN fosters effective educational strategies and properly documents all information in health records.

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in Nursing.
    • Bachelors in Nursing is required within 5 years.
    • Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must possess at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure exam.
    • Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
