    Responsibilities

    Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a Provider Recruitment who wants to impact patient care to our community

    As part of recruiting physicians and providers to our organization, and assisting them in their careers with Good Samaritan, you have the opportunity to work at the ground level of increasing access to healthcare in southern Indiana and southern Illinois.

    The recruitment department works with physicians and advanced practice providers across the country, introducing them to our Good Samaritan family, as well as proudly showing off Vincennes and surrounding areas

    This position has the potential for a remote/in-house hybrid work model

    Essential Job Duties:

    Physician Recruitment
    • Work with team to plan, schedule and coordinate Physician and APP site visits and interviews
    • Communicate and build working relationships with physician and APP applicants
    • Create and maintain specific recruitment reports
    • Learn software to manage databases and pay invoices
    • Assist Director and Coordinator in multiple recruitment endeavors
    Medical Staff Office
    • Medical Staff Office correspondence and memos to providers
    • Reports from the MSO software system as needed to assist other departments
    • Data entry into MD Staff and support for the credentialing process in MSO
    • Assist MSO Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator
    Qualifications

    Job Specifications:
    • Education: Associates Degree Preferred; GED or High School Diploma Acceptable
    • Experience: Healthcare experience highly preferred. Proficiency in keyboarding, data entry and business writing required. Knowledge of software applications and administrative/clerical procedures. Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language skills mandatory.
