- Obtain a thorough and concise patient history, including relevant medical, ocular, and family background, to assist in evaluating and diagnosing eye conditions.
- Record visual acuity measurements using standard testing methods, ensuring accurate documentation of patients' visual function for diagnosis and treatment purposes.
- Perform manifest refractions with accuracy and efficiency, using specialized equipment and techniques to determine the best refractive correction for patients with refractive errors.
- Conduct intraocular pressure (IOP) measurements using tonometry techniques.
- Accurately record examination findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans as instructed.
- Must be open to traveling between our four offices.
- Must have a patient-first approach.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a team player.
- Show flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the practice, including readiness to travel between multiple office locations as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- 8:00-5:00 Flexibility is crucial, with occasional availability needed for Saturdays and evenings.
