    Description
    The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must also have ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. Other responsibilities may include but not limited to these;

    Qualifications / Description


    • Pick up dirty towels/sheets and trash from guest rooms and floors
    • Sort & deliver linen.
    • Deliver items to guest in a timely manner.
    • A friendly/caring approach to guests and fellow colleagues is required. All colleagues should be able to connect with others in a safe way based on COVID-19 cleanliness, hygienic and well-being standards.
    • Must have schedule flexibility - will require evening shifts approximately 3PM-11:30PM and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
    • Must have basic communication skills
    • Must be able to wear proper PPE at all times, this includes, mask, gloves, and other items based on your work.
    • Must have basic communication skills

    • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
    • Should be comfortable with technology. Requires use of handheld electronic device for tracking work orders and communicating with leadership & other departments.
    • Must have schedule flexibility and open to work on weekends and holidays.
    8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on weekends.

    • Must have a reliable transportation.
    • Ability to operate carpet shampoo machine.
    • Identify and report any needed repairs, preventative or other maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager or Engineering Team
    • Report items left behind by guests to the Housekeeping Manager.
    • Assist supervisor, room attendants, and lobby attendants as needed
    • Make sure your hallways and stairwells are check and clean on a daily basis including furniture on the floors (desk, mirror, phones and lamps)
    • Ensure timely completion of special projects and other duties as assigned
    • Report linen damages and/or shortages to the Executive Housekeeper
    • Housemen will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Housemen- to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.
    • Help the Housekeeping team with the heavy lifting when deep cleaning of rooms
    • Must be able to work independently and as a team
    Hourly rate of $16.75
