Randstad is seeking an enthusiastic Lab Technician for an immediate opportunity in Ankeny, Iowa. As the selected candidate you will work with a global leader in agriculture research. This is a great opportunity to work in a positive, innovative work environment where all workers are treated with respect and diversity is acceptedWork Hours for this position are 1am - 10am - Monday -Friday.Relocation cost reimbursement is not available for this position, local candidates are preferred.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 1 AM - 10 AM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Perform a variety laboratory technical tasks including sample preparation and processing.
Responsible for the care and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Assist in the operation of the equipment and the gathering of data.
Assist with receipt and inspection of raw materials, ordering and stocking.

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field of study with 1-4 years of lab experience.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a lab / research environment.
Skills with Microsoft Office software.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

Laboratory/Sciences (4 years of experience is required)
Microsoft Office (4 years of experience is preferred)
Lab Sample Preparation (2 years of experience is required)

Years of experience: 2 years
Experience level: Experienced
