Job Description:
About the Role & Team
The Decision Science Product team in DDSI utilizes advanced analytics and modeling to drive business decisions and enhance business value across different segments. The team collaborates with decision scientists, data engineers, and application developers to conceptualize and implement solutions.
What You Will Do
As part of DDSI, you will be involved in enhancing existing solutions, engaging with clients to address business problems, creating data visualization dashboards, and leading analytical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Internal Consultant: Focus on Food and Beverage Revenue Management using advanced analytics.
- Strategic Partner: Collaborate with domestic and international clients to increase revenue and improve efficiencies.
- Product Manager: Support business needs assessment, solution design, and user training of analytics applications.
- Problem Solver: Research and find solutions for new challenges with a focus on business impact.
- Storyteller: Communicate key insights and recommendations effectively to partners and leadership teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in analytical product management.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R.
- Experience with Tableau and documenting business processes.
- Knowledge of standard methodologies influencing decisions for added value.
- Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects forward.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in tourism, hospitality, and revenue management.
- Experience with statistical methods, forecasting, and optimization.
- Understanding of agile methodology and software development life cycle.
- Experience in automating manual processes.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
