    University Hospital | 8 West Rhodes Progressive CareJob DescriptionScope of Position Works with UH Nursing Administration and Medical Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program to coordinate the care for patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) to assist in the coordination of the care of PAQH patients in an Inpatient, Outpatient Clinic, and Procedural Area setting. Provides leadership by serving as patient and staff educator, consultant, and liaison as part of the multi-disciplinary PAH team. The Program Manager identifies best clinical practices through national benchmarking and assists in the implementation of the plan of care. Assists in research studies, managing specialty medications, titrations and side effects of specialty medications, develop relationships with manufacturers and specialty pharmacies to assist patients w3ith specialty medications, and manage complex patients situations via phone. Minimum Education RequiredBachelor's Level DegreeRequired QualificationsFor Hire: Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing. Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. Current Ohio license. Minimum of 1 year telemetry and med-surg nursing experience required. Ongoing: Maintains and seeks new knowledge related to evidence based practice, patient care issues, quality improvement, cost reduction, current policies, procedures, and protocols. Maintains current Ohio RN license. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions. Explore our extensive benefits
