    What you will do

    Inspectors have the responsibility of carrying out regular inspections, testing, servicing, and preventive maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler, or Suppression life safety product lines, as well as products from other competitive manufacturers. They work with low-voltage wiring and related devices to operate low-voltage equipment smoothly. Completion of Service Acknowledgements with correct coding via communication tools like laptops or hard copies. Adherence to a well-planned inspection schedule. Data input, retrieval, and archiving of inspection documents through laptop computers. Timely completion of assigned inspections. Execution of other assigned tasks.

    How you will do it

    Hands-on experience in low-voltage electrical systems is preferred. We provide training for new recruits.
    Experience in understanding and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals. Training provided for new hires.
    Proficiency in using hand tools and multi-meters.

    Displaying troubleshooting skills for systems and carrying out essential minor repairs.

    What we look for

    Required

    A minimum of three years of verifiable experience in low voltage electrical systems and a background in Fire and/or Life Safety Systems is essential.

    Hold an Arkansas State Fire Alarm License

    Adeptness in troubleshooting systems.
    Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
    Physically capable of performing tasks involving the movement of equipment and tools weighing 50-70 lbs.
    Comfortable working in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, ceilings, etc.
    Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.
    Willingness to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
    Exhibit outstanding customer service.
    Team player with a self-driven attitude.
    Ability to comply with safety guidelines rigorously.
    Strong organizational skills, a positive mindset, and a quick learning ability.
    Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that aligns with company standards.
    Eligible to acquire and retain any necessary licenses as per National, State, and Local codes.

    High School Diploma or equivalent.
    Successful completion of the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).

    Attainment of NICET Level II certification after two years in the role.

    Preferred

    Proficiency in using hand tools and multi-meters.
    Experience in understanding and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals.
