Soliant Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School ELA Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield, SC. As an ELA Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop essential reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire a love for literature and language in young learners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging ELA curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational objectives for middle school students.
• Teach a range of ELA skills, including reading comprehension, writing fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
• Select age-appropriate texts and resources to engage students and foster a deeper understanding of literature and language.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves creatively and share their ideas.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and interests of students, providing personalized support and enrichment as needed.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English Education, Education with a concentration in ELA, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/license in ELA (or eligibility to obtain certification in South Carolina).
• Demonstrated experience in teaching ELA at the middle school level, with a strong foundation in literacy instruction and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate young learners.
• Passion for literature, language arts, and helping students develop into confident readers, writers, and thinkers.
