    Description
    Improve pixel optical and electrical performance through optimization of pixel structure and process. Develop new pixel types with specificrequirements, e.g. Phase Detect, DPD, NIR, ToF, LCOS, etc.

    Develop world best and smallest sub-micron pixel for mobile devices with circuit and advanced process technologyPerform TCAD simulations, layout design and verification to design and optimize pixels and pixel architecture for various types of image sensors.

    Develop and improve optical, device and process simulation capability and methodology for CIS pixel optimization and system modeling.
    Perform pixel-design-related and process-related CIS failures analysis.
    Generate and evaluate process experiments for the optimization of Imager pixel performance, quality, and manufacturability.

    Work with customers to understand pixel requirements, translate requirements to detailed specification, and develop pixel architecture to ensure specifications are met.

    Work with system level engineering and architecture to model and optimize devices, components and systems using OVT sensor and displays.


    Requirements:
    Require B.S. degree in Electrical, Chemical, Material Engineering, or related fields.

    Require four (4) years of experience in:
    Research and development of sub-micron pixels and the process for mobile image sensor.
    Device physics applications in semiconductor devices such as photodiode and transistor.
    Characterization and reliability for CMOS image sensor.
    New pixel structure with process and circuit technology.
    Display driver IC process, high voltage devices and triple gate oxide process.
    Cadence Virtuoso LayoutTCAD simulationSentaurus Process Explorer.
    Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $153,504 - $165,000.

    Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
