About the Program: This is a summer internship program based in our Portland, Maine headquarters. You'll be challenged with meaningful work and will be responsible for meeting deadlines, producing results, and contributing to business operations. To cap off your experience, you'll have the opportunity to attend and work at an event with the team.
We have two internship opportunities available:
The
Sales Support Intern reports to our Seafood Group helping the sales team gather customer feedback on digital product awareness among exhibitors, financial objections among companies, and assisting in prospecting efforts for both digital and event brands.
The
Social Media Marketing Intern reports to our Clean Energy Group and will assist in identifying opportunities for our product's expansion on social media.
This would include auditing the social media landscape, creating a content calendar, developing & deploying content, and monitoring engagement and reporting performance.
If your degree program and/or area of experience and interest is in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
Successful candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills to plan workflow, handle overlapping activities, meet established deadlines, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
What happens when the program ends?
We've been very successful at hiring and retaining past interns, and typically have opportunities available for early career professionals in marketing, event operations, sales, IT, or content creation.
Other Important Specifics:
This is a paid internship opportunity.
We are flexible on the days/hours requirement and seek candidates who can work 3-4 days per week for at least 24 hours/week.
This position is hybrid, reporting into the physical office and having the flexibility to work remotely. Some travel may be requiredApplications are due by May 3, 2024. We would like to have our roles filled and on board by early June 2024.
