Food Service Worker -Black Mountain - 1st Shift - Up to $20.00/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for Food Service Workers for 1st Shift for a conference center in Black Mountain.

Job Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs food prep work.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) experience as a food server or similar role
• Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and a friendly demeanor
• Good organization and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains a clean appearance
• Can work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

Hours of Work: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Part time hours up to estimated of 25 hours a week. Full time will be offered as business picks up.
