Job TypeFull-TimePosition Summary:The Client Engagement Services Specialist engages with consumers in person, over the phone,and/or online to build professional relationships by assisting consumers with services.Job Duties:Welcome consumers and visitors in a prompt, professional,and courteous manner; direct individuals to the appropriate staff within the organization.Act as a team player in efficient, centralized intake systemsand open-access systems for consumers.
Coordinate information flow(mail phones,intra-agency requests) efficiently and accurately to forward informationto the appropriate person(s) and/or relay messages as needed.Maintain basic understanding of agency services and programs to answer questions,direct calls etc.
Conduct accurate fee assessment todetermine payor source and eligibility for private insurance,Mediticaid,Medicare etc.Work with consumers to ensure Medicaid/insurance coverageand that client understands coverage including assistingwith /or coordinating application assistance.Informand educate clients on financial responsibility items tob ringto appointments,payment methods etc.
Collect andre cord co-payment from clients includingbut not limited tonthe accurate documentationof transactions,reconciling daily deposits tore receipts etc.Acceptingand tracking items received by the client engagement officeincluding donations,daily receipts of cash /or checks fort transmittalto the finance team,receipt of packages and mail etc.Processincoming faxes and medical record requests promptly.Inputaccurate information into systems and program databases i.e.enterclient data,schedule intake/follow-up appointmentsupdateclientinformationetc.Completeand process forms to obtain necessary datasignificant toc are.Work with DocuSign assistwith file managementbased on agency protocolsands t regulations.Prepare collatc copiesof internal documents packets.Maintainoffice supply inventory monitor supplieson hand.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal written communication skills.Excellentinterpersonal negotiation conflict resolutionskills.Excellents organizational skill sand attention todetail.Excellente time management prioritization skillswith proven abilitytomeet deadlines.Abilitytoprovideproblem-solvingassistance crisis interventiontoclients.Abilityact-with integrity professionalism confidentiality.Awarenesssensitivity organization constituents populations served bye mployees.Proficient MicrosoftOfficeSuite related software.Regular predictable attendance promptnessfor work.Commitment uphoid mission vision valueof Lutheran FamilyServices.SupportLutheran FamilyServicesinorganization objective diverse equitable inclusive accessibleworkplace.Position Competencies:HelpingVerbalWrittenCommunicationCriticalThinkingOrganizingEducation ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two yearsof post-secondary education preferred.Customer service experience required.Nonprofitexperiencepreferred.Fluent Englishanother language preferred Desired languages alignwith our clientpopulationmay include but are notlimitedtonSpanishKurdishArabicetc.Demonstrated understanding ability work peoplediverse background.Display comfortlevel working stressful individualfamilydynamics.Advance knowledge technologyweb-based applicationsdesired.Valid driverslicense liabilityautoinsuranceability drivorganization business.
