Job Description:
Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies (HII-MT), is actively seeking Part-Time candidates with Government, Military, or Industry specialized technical, engineering, or specialty capability lead experience for placement on our Tech Center SME team. The team provides expert support to our operations program teams & Government customers and serves as the foundation for our organization's technical advisory and professional development opportunities.
We are looking for individuals to join our team of Tech-Area SMEs with expertise in technical competency areas like:
This position can be managed from Dayton, Ohio, but it's mission-driven, allowing candidates to work from Dayton, Ohio, other business sites, or fully remote. The pay range for this role is $70-$95/hour, depending on the candidate's education, background, and experience levels. Cleared and uncleared applicants are welcome.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Tech Center is a dynamic organization where our team engages across various programs & companies. Candidates work on activities based on their expertise, project needs, and company initiatives. Activities include direct support to DoD customer programs, contributing to business opportunities, and internal research & development projects.
