    Job Description Job Description Our Educational Services Talent Search program aims to assist over 1,700 inner-city students in low-income, predominantly minority neighborhoods with post-secondary planning and awareness.

    The program has operated since 1966 and has successfully placed over 75,000 at-risk, first-generation students into over 400 colleges and universities nationwide.

    Our dedicated Educational Specialists provide customized services, enrichment activities, and workshops to help program. Participants identify post-secondary options that align with their academic, social, career, and economic profiles.

    Our main goal is to empower students to select colleges that foster their equipping them with the necessary skills.

    We seek talented individuals who share our vision of serving and bringing positive change andtransformative opportunities to youth residing in economically distressed communities in theChicagoland area.

    How Will You Help Coordinate with Educational Specialists, EIP (Early Intervention Program) tutors, andcontracted data entry specialists to ensure proper data collection for federal, state, local,and private funders.

    Ensure that contract compliance of all client information and documentation is enteredinto relevant databases.

    Ensure case files for new and continuing clients are maintained and accurate with theappropriate electronic and on-site filing system documentation.

    Prepare for monitoring by federal, state, local, and private funders by supporting andorganizing local office data and evaluating areas that need to be addressed.

    Facilitate regular internal quality assurance checks that reflect the funders timelines. Make recommendations, conducts ongoing training needs assessment, and provides staffwith training and technical support for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).

    What Youll Need:
    Bachelors degree in counseling, education, social work, or related field.

    At least two years of experience working with youth in crisis, coupled with knowledge relevant to community resources and opportunities for educational advancement.

    Strong communication skills (written and Verbal), which you can adjust and leverage to meet the needs of your audience and target population.

    Experience collaborating with team members and other shared stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities.
