Job Summary:

Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC in Platteville, WI is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Automotive Reconditioning Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the condition of used vehicles and capturing high-quality photographs for marketing purposes. Your primary focus will be on assessing vehicles for reconditioning needs and ensuring that they meet our dealership's quality standards. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our inventory through visually appealing photos that highlight each vehicle's features and characteristics. Hours will include Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify any mechanical, cosmetic, or safety issues.
• Document and report findings accurately using dealership-specific inspection procedures and software.
• Determine reconditioning needs for each vehicle, including detailing, repairs, and maintenance.
• Take professional-quality photographs of vehicles, both exterior and interior, highlighting key features and areas of interest.
• Ensure that all photos are well-lit, properly composed, and edited to enhance visual appeal.
• Maintain organized records of inspection reports and photo files for each vehicle in inventory.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to effectively showcase pre-owned vehicles online and in promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles in inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive inspection, detailing, or photography preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify both minor and major issues with vehicles.
• Proficiency in using digital cameras and other photography equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
