    Description
    The Gardens at Scranton is seeking a Central Admissions Agent for our skilled nursing facilities in Scranton, PA.


    The Central Admissions Agent will be responsible for managing inquires or referrals for assigned locations to position the company as the leader in services and provider of choice in the market.

    This is a full-time position.


    Responsibilities:


    Develops and maintains relationships to advise referral sources of bed availability and new products and services, and efficiently meet the daily needs of the community at large.

    Maintain the current database of existing and potential referral sources. Utilizesthe Company's sales practices and sales tracking tools

    Manages and takes ownership for inquiries and calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources Completes clinical assessment and determines appropriateness of admission into a facility.

    Identifies primary payor of admissions, clinical appropriateness, and communicates all needs of admissions to the facility. Ensures all equipment is in place for new admissions.
    Oversee the admission process by maintaining updated bed availability and facility services information at all times. Oversee the inquiry process professionally, timely and with appropriate follow-up. Effectively manages occupancy levels and census/premium mix enhancement
    Ensure the closing of all leads
    Responsible for communicating business trends to management team that may influence sales deployment.
    Manage referral trend data to communicate opportunities for growth - communicate metrics around volume, conversion and customer feedback

    Responsible for completing on-site visits to Facility in an effort to develop relationships and staying up to date with specialty services, staff, upgrades and products.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree

    RN/LPN/LSW

    Clinical, healthcare, or related degree, preferred

    Minimum three (3) years experience in outside sales, marketing, or related experience
