    Mill Creek Lumber & Supply Company is looking for a reliable CDL Driver. You will run local deliveries, be home every night and receive two weeks paid training (hourly) then switch to our generous commission (zone pay) program Help us build America

    Drive company vehicle to deliver lumber & building materials, as well as hardware and other building supplies to customer's home, construction site or place of business

    • Record all pertinent delivery information as needed for accurate tracking
    • Collect and organize required paperwork for delivery and transfer activity
    • Treat all customers with courtesy and respect, including listening to and assisting in resolving customer complaints
    • Report customer complaints or requests in a timely manner
    • Collect or picks up empty containers, rejected merchandise from delivery sites as directed
    • Maintain the appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles
    • Assist yard and warehouse with stocking, loading and organizing materials
    • Assist customers with loading material and product questions when not driving
    • Comply with all company safety standards, and all federal, state, and local laws
    • Attend all store meetings and training sessions.
    Class A CDL required

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
    • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
    • Must successfully complete all Company training and certification requirements regarding equipment usage, including obtaining forklift certification
    • Can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway signs and signals and to respond to official inquiries
    • Can safely operate the type of commercial motor vehicle he/she drives
    • Is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSR requirements
