    Job Purpose

    As the regional focal point for the STATS commercial function, you will work closely with the other member of the regional team within the company commercial parameters and be responsible for:
    Reviewing allocated contract documents and preparing contract qualifications in accordance with agreed business norms.
    Liaising with the client in order to expedite close out of contract exceptions with the best commercial outcomes for STATS in alignment to commercial company standards
    Escalating all deviations through the commercial function and then ensuring formalized agreements reflects what was agreed and approved.
    Preparing allocated summary budgets, quotations, purchasing documents and agreements in line with company agreed templates.

    Main Responsibilities


    Review, prepare and record Contract qualifications for each applicable set of client contract terms (MSAs and standalone orders, change orders) and co-ordinate negotiation process to close out all exceptions suitably in line with allocated commercial business norms and in good time.

    Review, qualify and accept all Americas Region call-off and purchase orders in compliance with company standards.
    Co-ordinate weekly regional commercial meeting and resolve/escalate any issues and manage actions.
    Prepare commercial budget summary models to collate whole of job cost projections ahead of bids.
    Co-ordinate risk reviews and commercial sign offs as required.
    Prepare allocated quote documents in line with approved company templates.
    Co-ordinate all terms reviews with insurers to ensure full coverage on wording and comply with advice.
    Notify internal parties of accepted contracts or orders and ensure clear handover of contractual obligations.

    Communicate regularly with and report progress to Commercial Director to ensure good level of awareness of workload and ongoing activities, ongoing compliance, support needs and global consistency of approach.

    Review any Supplier qualifications or exceptions to the STATS standard terms for Purchase and provide a reply based on STATS standard business norms.

    Escalate issues or deviations in commercial function to ensure close out in good time.

    Manage the contract management database, and the internal review process for existing agreements to allow for timely rate escalations, and review of terms where they need to be revised to meet updated business norms.

    Escalate gaps identified and ensure timely close out within contract window.

    Add all new contracts to the database and storage folders as soon as possible to ensure they are managed as per process.

    Manage, record and store of all terms sets and qualifications made in central commercial repository.
    Participate in allocated tendering activities, preparing standard content and drafting and managing bid plan compliance through to submission stage

    Conduct all activities in full compliance with the influences procedures, group commercial procedures the STATS group delegation of authority matrix (DOA) and any other applicable company and regional processes.

    Promote compliance to others and actively intervene and highlight/escalate through the commercial function any process deviations or risks identified.

    Ensure all activities meet audit requirements in compliance with Company guidelines, policies, ethical standards and procedures and legislation in order to minimize any potential audit exceptions, partner claims or court action.

    Prepare allocated draft documents using standard style templates.

    Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paper work is completed.
    Internal Training Requirements

    Environmental Awareness
    STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
    Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge

    2+ years of experience in contractual agreement and cost analysis review, negotiation, drafting, reporting, management, and administration.
    Good demonstrated multi-state knowledge and experience of contract law principles and contract administration.
    Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
    Demonstrates ability to maintain standards and understand contractual risk.
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree qualified in Business, legal or related area or equivalent
    Personal Qualities

    Highly self-motivated team player
    Detail orientated and thorough with good numerical skills
