Company Overview: Our client is seeking a Controller for their large privately held nationwide logistics solution company that services some of the world's largest companies in many different industries. This company has continued to grow via acquisition and organic growth.

Controller Position Summary: This Controller will report to the CAO and will be the Senior most person in their Jacksonville location. This Controller will be responsible for overseeing the South-east region sites. Controllers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Serve and oversee all financial matters in the South-east region.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to optimize working capital and financial stability.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications for the Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience
• Implementation experience (+)
• Acquisition accounting experience (+)
• Ability to learn new systems and technology
